We are a community-based nonprofit dedicated to nurturing a love for reading, learning, and connection right here in Fairburn, Georgia. We believe the library is more than a building. It’s a gathering place where people of all ages and backgrounds can explore ideas, discover opportunities, and feel a sense of belonging.

As we relaunch the Friends of the Fairburn Library, we’re excited to bring renewed energy and purpose to our work. Our first focus is reopening and operating the Friends bookstore through regular book sales, creating an ongoing way for the community to support the library while discovering affordable books and resources.

Looking ahead, our goal is to continue expanding our impact by supporting library programs, enhancing resources, and creating experiences that strengthen families, inspire students, and unite neighbors.

Through volunteer efforts, fundraising, and partnerships with local organizations, we will look to help the library do what it does best: empower our community through knowledge, creativity, and connection. From book sales today to programs and events in the future, Friends of the Fairburn Library is here to help make the library a lively, welcoming space for everyone.
